Broke some time free and given the great weather we’ve decided to paddle Country Pond in Newton NH today (08/25) at 5:30PM

Country Pond is a 306 acre pond with a major (private property) island to circumnavigate and a connection to Powwow Pond through the Webster Wildlife and Natural Area. While much of the shoreline is developed, there are some remaining natural areas.

FYI: Parking is limited to on-street parking on one side of a relatively narrow street - best to leave the full sized pickups and SUVs at home for this one. There is a nice gravel ramp for launching, but there is no parking on the ramp.
