For more than 30 years folks have been gathering twice a year to share their love for backcountry travel by canoe, by snowshoe, or by ski. Here’s the link to last year’s Gathering website where you’ll be able to get a good sense of what the Gathering is all about.

There are multiple on-water and land based workshops, evening presentations and time to just hang out with like minded folks - new folks to meet and friends to make.

Last year the list of presenters, instructors, workshops leaders and guides included Becky Mason, Alexandra Conover Bennett, Willem Lange, Sam Brakeley and many more.

We’ll post updates as we get them. Again, we really enjoyed the event last year.

The organizers are working on getting the registration website up and running - we’ll post here as soon as it’s available.
