Grab your canoes, paddles, life vests and whatever and join White Rose Canoe’s Team Canoe and fellow canoeists for a fun couple of hours messin’ around in canoes – sharing skills, exploring different sections along the river, exchanging info on paddling spots and launches, telling stories, and, after, maybe a beverage. These are “out and backs” so no need to worry about shuttles.
Goal: Raise funds to support the Ipswich RIver Watershed Association’s efforts to protect nature and make sure there is enough clean water for people, fish and wildlife, today and for our children and theirs. All while enjoying an evening paddle on the Ipswich
Team Canoe will be collecting voluntary, tax deductible donations from participants in the event. While not required, they will be greatly appreciated and critical to protecting the river (suggested donation: $25). If you can’t make the event, you can still donate here.
Group Size: However many show up.
When and Where: Thursdays from 5:30pm to 7:30pm

May 5: Peatfield St Canoe Launch. Peatfield Street, Ipswich, MA
June 2: Peabody Street, Middleton - Middleton Stream Team landing
June 9: Bradley-Palmer Parking, Ipswich Road canoe launch
June 16: High Street Canoe Launch, Topsfield
Equipment - BYOC:
Participants need to bring their own canoe and gear.
Life vests/PFD must be worn during this activity.
Wear suitable clothing for being on the water and for the weather (and spares, just in case…)
