Messin’ About In Canoes: An informal get together to paddle, share stories and just enjoy being on the water with other canoeists. Bring your own canoe, gear, etc..

First Up: Thursday, May 18 at 5:30pm, from Lake Gardner Beach canoe launch to Woodsom Park.

We’ll put in at the canoe launch at Lake Gardner Beach off High St in Amesbury. Park in the beach parking lot. Canoe launch area is off to the right at the end of the asphalt sidewalk where it enters the trees.

We’ll paddle the length of Lake Gardner and up the Pow Wow River to the small beach at Woodsom Park. Some nice shade, and we can check out the beaver dam up by the park bench.

Note: This is not an “official” event - just folks getting together to paddle at the same time in the same place
