“Messin’ About In Canoes”: An informal BYOC* get together to paddle, share stories and just enjoy being on the water with other canoeists.
*Bring your own canoe (paddles, gear, etc.)
We’ll put in at the White Rose Canoe launch at the shop. There is plenty of parking in the lower lot - driveway is on the left as you look at the shop.
We’ll paddle upriver, going under the Rt 1A/133 bridge on river left. We’ll probably do a short detour up the Little River to visit our local stretch of the Rocky Coast of Maine and then head back the Parker to continue upstream, past the railroad bridge and the Mill River fork, enjoying views of the marsh. We should have favorable tides in both directions.
